Tudor Sketches

This three movement work is based on the songs and styles during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. Hampton Court, with its flowing dance feel, is followed by The Queen Bess, which is relaxed and stately. Finally, the great chase is heard in Hunting at Chobham. Throughout all three movements there is plenty of interplay between brass and woodwind choirs along with stylish percussion parts.
